"SOUP PROJECT"

7. 11. 2011, 7pm

On November 7, artists Kalle Hamm (Finland) and Dzamil Kamanger (Finland/Kurdistan) made soup and presented their work, the "Afaryan Project" which was about memories of an abandoned village. They also presented other projects such as the "Immigrant Garden", another very interesting project on the issue of multiculturalism, xenophobia and identity. Dzamil Kamanger also talked about his personal history, his imprisonment in Iran and eventual exile to Finland where he now live and work as an artist. More than 20 people were present to enjoy a lovely soup made by Dzamil and a very engaging conversation.
